Katie, Raine & Tina the Tampon Lady!

TMI Project just dropped their latest podcast, featuring Period Power! Club and our work in preparation of our performance. Katie is one of our youth activist in our student run club and a chapter of PERIOD. Our mission is to eradicate period poverty and stigma! We should have education about anatomy and our students want it! Katie talks about it and why it's so important. While Florida struggles with the word PERIOD, we embrace it.


Governor Kathy Hochul signed the Health Equity and Opportunity legislative package, which further supports the State’s commitment to gender inclusivity and will provide necessary resources to New York’s youth. Just a few weeks ago Legislation S.5913A/A.113A requires menstrual products to be provided to students for free in private middle and high school student restrooms. State Senator Iwen Chu said, “A stigma around menstruation and menstrual inequities continues to impact thousands of students in New York State. Read more here.


Join us for Stories for Choice: Period Power, an evening of true storytelling featuring youth-activists from Kingston High School’s Period Power! club who participated in a 10-session TMI Project storytelling workshop this fall to craft their personal narratives. Come bear witness to their brave sharing and find out how you can help them destigmatize menstruation and eradicate period poverty.
