Our Work
Period Power! is a youth-led club where they hope to amplify their voices in efforts to make systematic change and combat period poverty through education, service, and advocacy. Now a chapter of www.Period.org, we work to advance PERIOD.’s mission of eradicating period poverty and stigma by creating action plans that employ our three pillars of service, education, and advocacy in our own community!

Community Events
We host community events to bring awareness to Period Poverty and Period Stigma. We have hosted an open Mic Night at GWI, The Red Wedding at the Senate Garage and have filmed a video/audio podcast with HUDSY and TMI Project for you to watch or listen to wherever you get your podcasts!!
Story Telling with TMI Project
We tell our stories for all the menstruators who can relate to our stories in hopes that we reduce Period Stigma. We not just tell our stories, we evoke conversation with local law makers and people in power to make government change. Follow along this journey with us!

Monthly Club Meetings
We meet monthly as a club... sometimes even more. We plan our events, celebrate one another and accept the uniqueness we all bring to this team. During our meetings we discuss our accomplishments and plans for the future of our club. On our off weeks we often get together in W 304, Ms. Dierna's office to hang out, craft, work on class assignments or just vent about life!
Community Service
We volunteer at community events and serve as youth voices in collaboration with local non-profits.
