About the event

Join us for an evening of networking, education, and dancing in your best RED, WHITE or Black attire! This event is hosted by Period Power! Club of Kingston High School. We are dedicated to eradicating Period Poverty and Period Stigma in our community. We are thankful for our sponsors in this event and our courageous leaders assisting our students through this event.

  • 5:30-6:00: Arrival (event check in), networking & find a seat
  • 6:10-6:25: Short documentary presented by Period Power! Club and HUDSY
  • 6:25-6:45: Short Q & A from the Audience with Radio Kingston assistance
  • 6:45-8:00: Red Wedding Dance Party
  • 8:00-8:30: Clean up and Goodbye

The use of this space has been partially donated by Senate Garage!

On behalf of Period Power! we want to thank the City of Kingston for providing us a grant to make this possible!

  1. THIS IS A FREE EVENT
  2. Our students will have club merchandise available for purchase. Checks or Cash is accepted.
  3. No alcohol will be provided or permitted. Smoking is also not permitted.
  4. All proceeds assist our club members and our menstruators at Kingston High School.
  5. Our students are proudly working with TMI Project and those wanting to support this work, may also donate to our TMI story writing workshops!

This event has been renamed from Menstruators on a bench to The Red Wedding.
